Hair Me Now and Believe Me Later
As nothing of a trendsetter or spotter, I lightly say that bangs (yes, it’s a hair style) are on their way back. But not just for the ladies. Bangs are back for guys too. Call them Boy Bangs! With the likes of Zac Efron and Ashton Kutcher, the bangs are back. A recent article in the Houston Chronicle tells the story. I am not sure how I feel about the boy bang. I may be old school and like my guys with neat and clean cuts, possibly bordering on military. What’s your opinion?

I like it short and sweet on most (except for Johnny Depp - he can wear it however he pleases…)
Some of the man bang styles are too long/swept around for my liking - it’s like they are getting a jump start on the comb over early in life.

I think the key word is “boy”. No man in his right mind would do the “boy bang” thing! My sons can do bangs, but on a MAN, I’m all for short hair as long as we stay away from the military “high & tight”, ugh.

My son has had some sort of “gel-required” flat-top, buzz with front spikes since the time he was 4 or 5. Now that he is almost 13 he wants to “grow it out” yet he can’t stand hair touching his forehead. It should be an interesting summer to see how long it gets before one of us caves and demands that it gets cut.
I guess with the right style and the right hair type boy bangs can look okay - but most of the time it just looks like these boys need a haircut.
Maybe I’m just old school too.
